Website Copywriting

Creating captivating copy can be tricky.

You know what you want your copy to do:

You want your readers’ eyes to light up when they start reading. They need to be spellbound until the final word, at which point they will be ready to take action. It’s clear that you not only understand their problem, but they have complete confidence that you offer their perfect solution.

You are the person they’ve been waiting for.

This is easier said than done though.

You only have a few seconds to make a first impression.

So you need to make sure that your copy:

  • Speaks directly to your dream client
  • Highlights the value you have to offer
  • Communicates your personality in every word

But how exactly do you get there?

If you’re tired of staring at a blank screen and watching “write copy” slip further down your already crammed to-do list…

It might be time to get a copywriter’s perspective.

Someone who can look at your business, values, and USP from your client’s point of view, and write copy that puts them first.

Copy that sounds like you – only clearer, more confident, and client-focused.

I would love to write this copy for you.

Why work with me on your Website Copywriting?

Before I write a single word, your website copy project starts with a whole lot of research.

I will study your brand in-depth and extensively research your market and competitors to deeply understand your dream client. This way, your copy reflects exactly what they are looking for.

We will also do a lot of talking. The more I get to hear you talk about your business, your clients, and the work you do in your own words, the better I can shape your copy to reflect who you really are, which helps attract the right people to your services.

I have written website copy for a whole host of clients – from professional speakers to six-figure coaches, social media managers to exceptional brand photographers. No matter your niche, I will be able to help you reach your dream clients using the power of words.

There are nuggets of gold hidden within your copy – we just might need to dig a little to find them.

If this sounds like you, then my Website Copy Refresh Service might be exactly what you’re looking for. Rather than tear the house down, I’ll do some redecorating, to make sure your copy is doing you the justice you deserve.

  • £200 for one page

Testimonial

Emma did a wonderful job on my website copy. I didn't have the time to write it myself ... but when I read back what Emma wrote, I could almost believe I DID write it; she captured my tone of voice down to a 't'. Copywriting genius. And fast, too! If you are looking for great content, created efficiently and with minimal fuss, look no further. Oh, and Emma is a pleasure to work with too."

What Happens Next?

Our time together is all about collaboration, and you will be kept in the loop at every stage of the project.

Here’s a sneak peek of how we will work together.
The Delivery

The edits have been made, the i’s have been dotted and the t’s have been crossed. All that’s left for me to do is send the final draft – plus an invoice for the remaining payment, if applicable.

The Edits

Two rounds of edits are guaranteed any time you work with me, so there will be plenty of opportunity for us to fine-tune the details of your project.

The First Draft

We’ve had our chat, tied up any loose ends, and the brief is making your dreams come true. This is where I’ll knuckle down and get writing! The first draft will be sent across in plenty of time to allow for any required edits.

The Brief

This is where the fun begins. Once we’ve shaken hands (metaphorically) and decided to work together, we will have a 45-minute call where I can get to know you and your business inside out. Combining this call and lots of external research will allow me to create a detailed brief for the project – this way there are no surprises for either of us!

We can then chat through the brief and make tweaks, to make sure we’re singing from the same sheet.

The Quote

If you would love to collaborate on your copy, I will create a quote based on what you need, and give you a timeline for the work to be completed. If you’re ready to get started, I will lock you into my diary once you have paid either a 50% deposit or the full amount upfront, depending on the size of the project.

The Chat

After you submit your enquiry, I will get back to you in 1-2 working days to set up a call to chat through your requirements. This no-obligation call will typically take around 30 minutes and allows us to get to know each other. If you don’t think that we’re the right fit by the end of the call, then we will part ways as friends. No hard feelings – I promise!

FAQs

The Business Deep Dive call allows me to really delve into the detail of your business. Over 45 minutes, we will discuss your history, mission, vision for the future, target customer, competitive landscape…the list goes on.

Combining this with a lot of external research gives me the context I need to understand your target audience and your USPs, so I can write magnetic copy that compels your reader to become a raving fan.

By looking at your business from a different perspective, you may also walk away with a few lightbulb moments of your own!
It depends on the size of your project! For smaller projects of under £750, I will request full payment upfront.

I will take a 50% deposit for larger projects, then invoice the remaining 50% along with the first draft.

I’m always happy to discuss payment plans if necessary, but a deposit must be paid before I begin working on your copy for diary management purposes.
